30/10/2009 -  29ER EUROCUP: SI E' APERTA OGGI CON SEGNALE D'AVVISO ALLE ORE 13.00 LA MANIFESTAZIONE CONTINENTALE DEDICATA ALLA CLASSE 29ER E 29ERXX. GIORNATA CON VENTO TESO DA SUD TRA GLI 8 E 11 M/S. IN ACQUA TRENTUNO 29ER IN RAPPRESENTANZA DI 7 NAZIONI, NOVE 29ERXX IN RAPPRESENTANZA DI 4 NAZIONI. L'EQUIPAGGIO TEDESCO 29ER DI JUSTUS SCHMIDT E MAX BOEHME (GER 23) E' PRIMO NELLA CLASSIFICA PROVVISORIA DI GIORNATA, KATIE NURTON E LOUISE WALKER (GBR 2) SONO PRIME TRA I 29ERXX.

Riva del Garda...venerdi' 30 ottobre 2009... si e' aperta oggi con segnale d'avviso alle ore 13.00 la manifestazione continentale dedicata alla classe 29er e 29erXX. Giornata con vento teso da sud intorno ai 8 m/s nella prima prova, cresciuto a 11 m/s nella seconda e nella terza prova. In acqua trentuno 29er in rappresentanza di sette nazioni (GER,CRO,ITA,NOR,SWE,AUT,SUI) , nove i 29erXX in rappresentanza di quattro nazioni (GBR,GER,ITA,FIN). L'equipaggio tedesco 29er di Justus Schmidt e Max Boehme (GER 23) e' primo nella classifica provvisoria di giornata (1,3,2), seguono Domagoj Fizulic e Leon Ostrez (CRO 1341) (4,2,4), in terza posizione Paul Kohlhoff e Tim Kramer (GER 1280) (2,4,5). Gli equipaggi della Fraglia Riva, Riccardo Camin e Lorenzo Franceschini (ITA 8) e Augusto Poropat e Giacomo Grosselli (ITA 1209), autori entrambi di un primo di giornata, sono rispettivamente quarti (5,6,1) e quinti (13,1,3). Altro equipaggio tutto al femminile della Fraglia Riva, posizionato a meta' classifica, quindicesimo (19,13,17), e' quello di Alice Agnoletto e Giuditta Colombi. Katie Nurton e Louise Walker (GBR 2) sono prime (2,1,1) tra i 29erXX. In seconda posizione un altro equipaggio inglese, David Hall e Hanna Dahlborg (GBR 777) (1,4,4), terzo posto per Philipp e Thilo Kramer (GER 1) (3,2,5). TODAY'S WARNING SIGNAL, AT 1 PM (MILITARY TIME 13:00), KICKED OFF THE START OF THIS WELL-SCHEDULED SAILING EVENT. STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS BLOWING STEADY AROUND 8 - TO - 11 M/S. ON THE WATER, THIRTY-ONE 29ER SAILCRAFT REPRESENTING 7 NATION-STATES, AND NINE 29ERXX REPRESENTING 4 NATION-STATES. AMONG THE 29ER, GERMANY'S JUSTUS SCHMIDT AND MAX BOEHME (GER 23) LEAD THE PACK IN THE FIRST DAY'S TEMPORARY OVERALL SCORES AND RANKS. TOPPING THE 29ERXX CLASS: THE CREW OF KATIE NURTON AND LOUISE WALKER (GBR 2).

Riva del Garda...Friday, October 30, 2009...today's 1 PM ... warning signal kicked off the 2009 edition of the 29er and 29erXX Eurocup sailing event. Southerly winds, blowing strong and steady around 8 meters - per - second, powered the day's first race. Windspeed intensified to 11 m/s for the day's second and third races. On the water: thirty-one 29er crews representing seven nation-states (GER, CRO, ITA, NOR, SWE, AUT, SUI); nine 29erXX representing four nation-states (GBR, GER, ITA, FIN). Among the 29er Class, Germany's Justus Schmidt and Max Boehme (GER 23) top the temporary scorecharts with first-day results 1, 3, 2. Second position for Domagoj Fizulic and Leon Ostrez (CRO 1341) (4, 2, 4). Third position in the temporary overall scores and ranks held by Paul Kohlhoff and Tim Kramer (GER 1280) (2, 4, 5). Host organization Fraglia Vela Riva has two crews near the top, respectively holding fourth and fifth positions. Each of them also won a race today. That's Riccardo Camin and Lorenzo Franceschini (ITA 8) in fourth position (with scores 5, 6, 1) and Augusto Poropat and Giacomo Grosselli (ITA 1209) in fifth (with scores 13, 1, 3). Fraglia also has an all-female crew, fairly well-positioned at fifteenth in the temporary overall scores and rankings: Alice Agnoletto and Giuditta Colombi (scores 19, 13, 17). The 29erXX Class' temporary overall scores and rankings are topped by 2 British crews. Katie Nurton and Louise Walker (GBR 2) hold first position with scores 2, 1, 1. In second position David Hall and Hanna Dahlborg (GBR 777) with scores 1, 4, 4. Third position for Phillip and Thilo Kramer (GER 1) (3, 2, 5).
